RØDE M3 Condenser Microphone

This is a fantastic piece of kit. We've been using dynamic mics at church for literally... years and I suggested a condenser for the speaker. Complete revelation. The speech is so much clearer and less likely to fall away as the speaker moves around the lecturn than the dynamics (but that's what you get from a condenser). The 10yr warranty available through Rode is also a complete bonus on something under £70. Although we are using for speech, there is so much versatility built in. We had borrowed one to try out from one of our musicians before buying one ourselves, and he uses it for instruments where he uses the first 10dB pad ... superb idea. Also the facility to cut bass under 80Hz. Stops the building from providing too much echo. It does pick up everything in it's zone, so can be unforgiving if you make too much noise around the front end (although good cut from the rear), but I feel this piece has been engineered to please a whole lot of people a whole lot of the time.
