Proel's APOP40 is a compact metal pop filter that is designed to be placed in front of your microphone to prevent popping noises from being picked up during vocal recordings. Simply attach the holder to your microphone stand and you're ready to record.

Plosives

Letters like t, k, p, d, g and b are known as plosives and when you're recording they're often picked up with more force than other letters giving you an unbalanced sound. By placing a pop filter in front of a microphone, these harsh sounds are filtered out for a more natural-sounding result. The Proel APOP40 is equipped with an adjustable gooseneck so that you can place it at exactly the right angle in front of your mic.
