No matter how good a Blue Yeti microphone is, it's still just as vulnerable to contact noise and shocks as any other mic. No matter how sealed the recording space, if a ground-shaking articulated lorry happens to lumber down the street, it's going to appear on the recording. To lend some expert help, the Blue Radius III shockmount has literally been made for both the Blue Yeti or Blue Yeti Pro. When mounted, the elastic suspension bands will absorb any unwanted vibrations while your Yeti sits proudly in this vintage-style shock mount.

Eindelijk verlost van vervelende bijgeluiden. In combinatie met de arm van Blue is het één professioneel en clean ogend geheel geworden. Het bevestigen van een popfilter is geen enkel probleem, mits je een popfilter kiest met een lange flexibele arm.
Ook ben ik zeer te spreken over de bouwkwaliteit. Het geld meer dan waard.

Zwaar kwalitatief en vrij makkelijk te gebruiken. Heel makkelijk te gebruiken met een statief.
Enige sleechte kant: niet makkelijk om een popfilter te vinden die hierop past.
Het heeft zeker mijn geluidsopnames zwaar verbeterd!
Zeker een must have!

Ik was gelijk zeer te spreken over de kwaliteit van de shockmount, als je m uit de doos haalt merk je echt dat je iets met kwaliteit in je handen hebt. Ik moet wel zeggen dat ik de shockmount op het eerste gezicht groter vond dan ik had verwacht, maar bij een grote microfoon (Blue Yeti) hoort natuurlijk een grote shockmount. De microfoon is makkelijk op de shockmount te bevestigen en past ook perfect bij de blue yeti wat betreft de kleur (ik heb een zwarte Blue Yeti-microfoon en een zwarte shockmount) en het materiaal. Over het algemeen ben ik zeer tevreden met deze aankoop.
