Algemeen:
Het is natuurlijk vervelend als u bijgeluiden hoort bij uw microfoonopnames. Om ervoor te zorgen dat deze geluiden zo ver mogelijk worden gereduceerd heeft Icon deze shockmount ontworpen. De shockmount is van stevig metaal gemaakt en via een netwerk van verende draadjes worden de schadelijke schokken opgevangen. De shockmount wordt uitgevoerd in hetzelfde design als de Icon M2, M3, O2 en O3.
