We had to wait for it, but this second-generation model is already rewarding our patience. Designed to do away with MIDI cables and interfaces, the fully plug-and-play Alesis V25 MK2 USB/MIDI keyboard equips both producers and musicians with twenty-five touch-sensitive keys, eight performance pads, four programmable encoders and a pitch-and-modulation wheel. Not only that, there's an on-board arpeggiator that serves as an eternal source of inspiration, and Alesis even throw in a worthy software bundle that includes a copy of MPC Beats, various MPC expansion packs and more.
