General
After the first Komplete Kontrol keyboards were launched by Native Instruments, the world was introduced to a whole new way of music production. Apart from the elegant controllers, the coloured LED lights above the keys made these devices incredibly popular in no time. The lights correspond to the colour codes in the Kontakt software, which enables you to see exactly where your key switches are at any given time. This is the 2nd generation Komplete Kontrol S49 MK2 USB/MIDI keyboard by Native Instruments.
What's new
Put simply, the MK2 is just better. It comes standard with inputs for sustain and expression pedals, as well as USB MIDI and DIN MIDI. The S49 MK2 also has a pair of colour displays for your plugins. Using NKS protocol, you can be sure of a seamless integration of software and hardware. The keyboard has also been enhanced with a Fatar key bed!
Additional features
The previous Komplete Kontrol features touch strips for pitch and modulation, but this MK2 has tried-and-trusted wheels and an extra touch strip! Additional controls give you access to transport buttons of the selected DAW software as well as scenes and patterns in MASCHINE. Another new feature the unique rotary knob on the right-hand side, which acts as a sort of stick and combines a push encoder with a cursor mechanism. The Komplete Kontrol MK2 has never been more complete!

- this keyboard can also be used as a MIDI keyboard without computer by using the DIN connectors. You will need the Native Instruments PSU18W power supply (sold separately).

Het product was snel in huis zonder problemen. Maar dat ben ik wel gewend van Bax-shop!

De software wat je erbij krijgt is echt super.. en veel en makkelijk te installeren via native acces
ik dacht hier Select 11 bij te krijgen maar na aanmelden was dit komplete Select 12 dit was een aangename verrassing.
er is alleen 1 min punt de intergratie met Reason. Hij werkt in principe wel alleen de basic functies op het keyboard werken niet ( stop/play/rec)
ik had dit probleem eerst ook met ableton maar dit was al redelijk snel opgelost.
ik wacht dus nu nog op een reactie van zowel NI als Proppellerhead hoe dit op te lossen
