In creative, you never have enough buttons. There is always some creative function somewhere that you want to be able to trigger with a button. But then again, the number of hotkeys on your computer keyboard is finite and probably already in use. In short, high time for a product like the Intech Studio Grid Series 2 BU16. This is a compact controller, via MIDI, with sixteen buttons. Fully programmable to your liking with free software. Possibly even tweak it yourself with an LUA script - if you can work with that. Best of all? Multiple modules can be clicked together with the magnetic sides. So you can connect another BU16 if you need more than 16 buttons, or a module with encoders, for instance. Up to eight modules can be powered on a single USB-C cable, so your own MIDI controller is quite expandable too.
