General
The Midiplus Smartpad is a grid-based matrix of 64 velocity sensitive, back-lit pads to control, manipulate and sequence virtual instruments via USB/MIDI. Initially, this extensive controller is a production and writing tool for the studio but can easily be taken to the stage to trigger samples, programme beats and sequences live or trigger notes since the Midiplus Smartpad is in fact an instrument in its own right. Surrounding the extensive grid are eight encoder rotary knobs and a generous handful of buttons for setting secondary functions to finish the face of the solid, USB powered Midiplus Smartpad. This edition includes a licence for Cubase LE.
