The RockBoard Flat Mini-TRS to FlaX MIDI Type A adapter allows you to connect equipment with a 3.5 mm TRS-MIDI Type A socket to equipment with a five-pin MIDI socket. This 150 cm black adapter cable features a flat, right-angled mini-jack plug and a compact, swivelling FlaX MIDI plug. This helps you keep your connections tidy, even on a crowded pedalboard. The cable is suitable for compatible Type A equipment from brands including Boss, Empress, Korg, Akai, MOD and Make Noise. Please note your device’s connection standard: this version has the Type A pin configuration, not that of Type B. This ensures you choose the correct connection for your MIDI setup.

A swivelling plug for a tidy pedalboard

Would you prefer the cable to run to the left, right or straight behind your equipment? The FlaX MIDI plug can be adjusted to almost any desired direction. You then secure the chosen position with two screws, ensuring the connector stays neatly in place. You’ll need a 1.5 mm Allen key for this; this is not included. The cable itself is also designed with practical use in mind. Its flat, rectangular profile helps to reduce twisting and mechanical stress, thereby preventing internal damage.
