With the RockBoard Flat Mini-TRS to FlaX MIDI Type A, you can connect MIDI equipment without taking up unnecessary space on your pedalboard. This 30 cm black adapter cable features a compact, five-pin DIN plug and a flat, right-angled 3.5 mm TRS mini-jack plug. The wiring complies with the TRS-MIDI Type A standard. This makes the cable suitable for devices using this connection standard, including those from Boss, Empress, Korg, Akai, MOD and Make Noise. So do check whether your equipment uses Type A. The flat design is based on RockBoard’s patented Flat Patch Cables and helps you keep the cabling on your pedalboard tidy.

Rotatable plug for optimal cable routing

A connection isn’t always in the most convenient place. That’s why you can adjust the FlaX-MIDI plug to almost any desired angle: straight, at a right angle to the left or right, or somewhere in between. This allows you to adapt the cable routing to the available space around your equipment. You can then secure the chosen position with two screws. You’ll need a 1.5 mm Allen key for this, which is not included. The cable itself is also designed with practical organisation in mind. The flat, rectangular profile reduces twisting and mechanical stress. This helps prevent internal damage and cable breakage, whilst the compact plugs leave space for the other connections on your pedalboard.
