The RockBoard Flat Mini-TRS to FlaX MIDI Type A 60 cm Black allows you to connect a 5-pin MIDI connector to a 3.5 mm TRS mini-jack connector in accordance with the MIDI Type A standard. This black adapter cable is suitable for devices with these connectors and pin configurations from brands including Boss, Empress, Korg, Akai, MOD and Make Noise. So please check that your equipment actually uses Type A. The flat, right-angled mini-jack plug and compact FlaX MIDI plug take up very little space on your pedalboard. Thanks to its 60-centimetre length, it bridges the gap between your devices, whilst the flat cable design helps keep your cabling neat and tidy.

Rotatable FlaX plug for customisable cable routing

Is a connection in a tricky spot? The FlaX MIDI plug can be adjusted almost in any direction, allowing you to route the cable straight ahead, to the left, to the right or at an angle in between. You then secure the chosen direction with two screws. You’ll need a 1.5 mm Allen key for this; this is not included. The cable itself is also designed for practical use: its flat, rectangular profile reduces twisting and mechanical stress, helping to prevent cable breakage and jamming. This allows you to easily adapt this extension cable to the available space, without the MIDI plug forcing you into an awkward cable route.
