The RockBoard Flat Mini-TRS to FlaX MIDI Type B lets you connect equipment with a 3.5 mm TRS MIDI Type B socket to a 5-pin DIN MIDI socket. This 150 cm black cable combines a flat, right-angled mini-jack plug with a compact, adjustable FlaX MIDI plug. Handy when you’re short on space on your pedalboard! This version is suitable for devices from brands including Novation, 1010Music, Arturia, Malekko, Polyend and Faderfox, provided they use the Type B pin configuration. So please check the connection specifications of your specific device: the brand name alone is not enough to choose the right cable. This ensures you connect your MIDI equipment correctly.

Adjustable plug for a tidy setup

You can position the FlaX MIDI plug straight, to the left, to the right or at an angle in between. This allows you to easily adjust the cable’s direction to suit the available space around your connections. You can secure the chosen position with two screws; to do this, you’ll need a 1.5 mm Allen key (not included). The flat, rectangular cable profile helps to reduce twisting and mechanical stress, thereby minimising the risk of internal damage. The right-angled mini-jack plug also keeps your connections compact. This allows you to neatly conceal the connection to compatible Type B equipment from Novation, 1010Music, Arturia, Malekko, Polyend and Faderfox, without any unnecessarily protruding plugs or a tangle of cables.
