In the early '60s, Fender started using the Blue Ajax capacitors in amplifiers. It soon turned out to be a huge success. By 1962, all Yellow caps were replaced by the Blue Ajax caps. These capacitors are made of Mylar, aluminium foil and wax and produce a genuinely bluesy sound. Tips or comments about this product

• Never replace the capacitor with a lower-voltage model, as this may cause trouble. Using a capacitor with a higher voltage is possible in many cases, however.
