The Rockcare Handmaster Plus trainer is a little piece of exercise equipment made to put power in the hands of any pianist, brass player or guitarist. This very literally handy tool exercises the nine muscles in your hand as you open it wide then ball it into a fist. Each finger and the thumb is thread through a shaped elastic band that's fed through the middle of a stress-ball-style ball. The elastic creates resistance to work-out the open hand and the stress-ball is squeezed to work-out the closed hand. Since this work-out kit is pocket-sized, it can be used to warm up before a show, to while away the hours on the tour-bus or even while waiting in line at the takeaway. A few sessions with the Handmaster and you'll notice just how strong and supple your playing can get.
