ENO BF-2 Flanger Effect Pedal

An excellent piece of kit. Many years ago I had an original Carlsboro flanger, then a Boss Flanger. Both really good. Recently I've been using line 6 Helix Effects and again the flangers are very good. However, I have a small grab-and-go board and was looking for a flanger that would be as versatile as the Boss - turns out this one does everything I want it to. In fact, I think it sounds better than the boss.

I'm really pleased I bought this pedal.

I have a lot of high-end stuff on my pedalboard and was reluctant to spend yet another small fortune on a flanger. I researched the budget offerings as best I could and thought this Eno looked good. There isn't much information on the web about Eno products, but I listened carefully to what I could find on YouTube and decided to order it.



Well, i have to say it sounds fantastic... just as I had hoped... lovely warm analog flanger sounds. I'm not a fan of over the top flanger craziness, but it certainly performs well for classic flanger sounds, like the way Prince used flanger. It will also do the jet airplane swooshing really well.



It is vital for me that any pedal I have doesn't reduce the volume of the guitar when you engage the effect and I'm pleased to report the Eno doesn't do this.



For the price, you wouldn't expect the quality of the materials to match the super high-end stuff, but it's fine. If I was being super critical, I notice the build quality of Tone City pedals are a little better.



Don't let this put you off though... this is a funky little pedal in a real estate friendly enclosure, that sounds fantastic, is a LOT of fun and represents great value for money.
