Following the success of the Flyrig 5 is Tech 21's Richie Kotzen Signature RK5 Fly Rig®. This effects pedal is not simply an elaborated version of the Flyrig 5. It was developed with the help of virtuoso guitarist Richie Kotzen, who you may know from Mr. Big, Poison, or The Winery Dogs. This multi-effect stomp box was thoroughly tested on stage and delivers the sound you need via a guitar amp, or by directly plugging into the PA, with the help of the famous characteristics of the high-quality Tech 21 amp, cabinet or mic simulation.
Tech21 Richie Kotzen Signature RK5 Fly Rig®
It all starts with the Tech 21 tube amplifier emulator that produces clean sounds thanks to its three-band equalizer, level and drive. The OMG signature overdrive delivers organic distortion with a feisty punch to give it that second channel effect. A third option is the boost effect, which adds another 21 dB extra preamp gain so your lead sound will really jump out. As far as effects are concerned, you've got reverb and delay with tap tempo at your disposal, to add to the overall colour of your guitar sound.

Ik moest hem eerst goed afstellen op mijn Blackstar ht 60 en mijn effectpedalen ( deze klinken nu veel beter) . Daarna fantastisch, veelzijdig en dynamisch geluid.

Na een week dit pedaal geprobeerd te hebben toch maar retour aangevraagd bij Baxshop.
Het geluid valt mij enorm tegen. Vind de distortion te "digitaal" en te schel klinken (ook met de Sansamp aan). Ik krijg er geen strakke scheur uit welke ik wel zou verwachten aangezien ik veel youtube filmpjes heb bekeken en hier klonk het pedaal erg strak.
De Delay en reverb klinken overigens wel goed, maar voor deze prijs mag je in mijn ogen echt meer verwachten.

Ik de hoop om voor oefenavonden dit apparaat te gebruiken is mij helaas enorm tegen gevallen. Niet te vergelijken met wat ik heb. Te scherpe distortion, reverb niet diep genoeg. Delay redelijk.
Reden voor mij om deze weer te retourneren. Helaas. Reviews in de vakbladen hebben iets anders verteld dan ik had verwacht.
