The EHX Tattoo is a fully analogue multi-effect pedal that combines three of Electro Harmonix’s beloved guitar effects: the Metal Muff distortion (including noise gate), the Neo Clone chorus and the Memory Toy delay. This handy pedal is practically a miniature pedalboard! The three effects operate independently and all have their own foot switch. The Electro Harmonix Tone Tattoo is supplied with a 9.6V adapter.

De Chorus van dit pedaal is het effect waar ik de meeste sound complimenten over heb gehad van alle effecten die ik ooit heb gehad. De gain knop van de delay zorgt ervoor dat je hem ook als clean-boost kunt gebruiken. Al met al erg goede kwaliteit effecten die heel divers inzetbaar zijn (zie andere review).

MAAR: Het kan aan mijn persoonlijke smaak liggen maar de Metal Muff vind ik ronduit slecht. Hoe hard je hem ook zet hij is in band situaties heel slecht hoorbaar omdat hij veel laag heeft en zelfs zonder scoop nog weinig mids. Wanneer de gate niet is ingeschakeld geeft het pedaal vanaf milde drive settings al vrij makkelijk feedback. De EQ (treble en bass) Klinkt alleen wanneer de knoppen op 12 uur staan. Elke andere stand van de EQ lijkt de geluidskwaliteit, los van persoonlijke smaak, erg te verlagen.


Thuis gaat dit pedaal heerlijk klinken, in band situaties waarbij je veel tussen clean en drive wisselt loop je tegen problemen aan.

Heeeeerrrrlijk pedaaltje en ziet er nog geil uit ook!
Van pure Goth tot Rock tot Metal! 70's Psychedelic met een pak Delay en de bend knop bijna vollebak open, New Wave/Goth met de Chorus en een beetje Distortion of gewoon full on Hard Rock/Metal met de Distortion helemaal open! En alles in 1 bakje.
Ik vond dat er nog een Reverb bijkon dus die had ik apart besteld. Toch dikke 5*
