Sound Devices' Scorpio Dante is quite possibly the most comprehensive audio interface out there. This beast has 32 channels on board as well as a number of dedicated FPGA chips. There are two SD card slots that can be used for recording and the built-in 256 GB SSD means it's capable of a maximum recording sample rate of 192 kHz. The entire mixer section and routing matrix can be configured easily with the help of the on-board display, almost every setting can be tweaked to your heart's content and you can route any input to any output. Specifically designed to speed up and improve your workflow, Sound Devices have even added a number of shortcut functions to the front panel of the Scorpio Dante. This is simply a formidably powerful, intelligently designed recorder, mixer and audio interface. It even has two battery docks so that you can use one while the other is charging.
