Als startende en hobby-matige saxofoniste, na wat zelf-onderzoek gedaan te hebben, kwam ik bij deze Purcell sax uit. Ik ben hem nu een maand aan het gebruiken en hij bevalt me goed. Hoewel ik zelf niet de allergrootste kennis heb van het instrument, en dus niet echt op de kwaliteit van het geluid kan oordelen, speelt de sax prettig. Ik krijg het geluid en makkelijk uit (makkelijker dan de oude sax die ik geleend had om op de te beginnen). Hij ligt prettig in de handen en is niet al te zwaar. De bijgeleverde koffer (die je ook op je rug kan dragen) is prima. De draagriem heb ik wel vrij snel omgeruild voor een andere. Al met al zeker tevreden met mijn aankoop en beveel ik dit instrument aan beginners zeker aan!

Prima standaard als je alleen losse A-tjes gebruikt. Maar niet geschikt voor zwaardere mappen of muziekboeken. Daar is deze standaard te ondiep en te wiebelig voor.
