AlphaTheta CDJ-1500X - the gear for the DJ summer

The CDJ-1500X - the smaller brother of the CDJ-3000X

The headline says it all; this is essentially the CDJ-3000X, just a size smaller. Fewer physical controls, but not necessarily fewer features. Where the CDJ-3000X has a button, the CDJ-1500X uses the touch display - which is just as large as the one on the CDJ-3000X. You might be tempted to want a huge unit with lots of buttons (because it looks cool!), but if you have to travel a lot with your gear, you might think twice. The CDJ-1500X is more compact and weighs almost half (!) of the CDJ-3000X. Combined with a more compact DJ booth, it offers that extra bit of travel comfort. After all, a CDJ like this already does everything a modern DJ wants. As a touring DJ, you start looking at practical matters, and the travel-friendly CDJ-1500X is pretty much ideal!
