Hot summer news: Denon's new MC7000 DJ controller

Even though we're right in the middle of summer, Denon has given us some hot news that almost makes us long for the autumn, cause that's when their newest controller is being introduced to the market. This brand-new innovative controller will consist of a 4-channel mixer with two decks, specially designed by Serato, and dual USB connections. Bax Music is sneaking a peek under the veil of Denon's new DJ controller.

Heavenly harmonics

Denon has once again taken a big step forward with the new MC7000 DJ controller. If you love playing back-to-back, but don't like to fuss with software you're not familiar with, you're certainly going to love the MC7000. The dual USB interface allows you to use different software without switching, and with 4 channels you shouldn't need to, so playing in sync with your partner is even easier with the MX7000. This new mixer offers the same harmonic mixing feature as the renowned MCX8000, and you can match the key or change to the preselected track with only one push of a button. Enjoy the mixing process even more with the two 6-inch touch-capacitive jog wheels with tracking LED and 16 touch-sensitive performance pads. Your imagination is the only limit with the MC7000! Don't forget to take a look at the specs that are known so far.

  • 4-channel digital DJ mixer
  • dual USB audio interface, to connect two systems simultaneously
  • solid, compact design
  • 16 touch-sensitive performance pads
  • Key Matching and Key Changing controls
  • firm 6-inch touch capacitive platters with tracking LED
  • 2 mic inputs with separate controls
  • XLR booth and master connections
  • Serato DJ DVS compatible

We expect the MC7000 will be available in the Autumn, and according to our sources it will cost about 800 pounds. Want to stay up-to-date with the latest news? Sign up for our newsletter!
