New Pa700 & Pa1000 Professional Arrangers by Korg
Korg's Pa series of keyboards have been popular for years. The Pa700, Pa700 Oriental and the Pa1000 are the latest additions to this enormously successful lineup. The new keyboards are not only packed full of sounds and different accompaniment styles, there are extensive possibilities for creating your own sounds too.
What's new?
The new keyboards all feature KAOSS FX technology that lets you use your creativity to the full. You can subtly mix different accompaniment styles, edit rhythms on the fly, add arpeggios or apply effects like tape delay. All of this is easy to do as well thanks to the user-friendly controls and a clear 7-inch display.
ESD-X Sound Engine
In total, the keyboards have more than 1700 sounds! There are modern and classic keyboards, brass instruments, strings and much, much more that all come from the Enhanced Definition Synthesis eXpanded sound engine. There are hundreds of different accompaniment styles too, including everything from folk to techno. You can even select your own accompaniment styles from MIDI files. The keyboards have studio-quality effects on board too and it's even possible to connect an instrument like a guitar as well as a microphone.
What are the differences?
As its name and appearance suggests, the Pa1000 is the most comprehensive of the new models. It has semi-weighted keys with aftertouch and a memory that is twice as big. It also has more effects on board than the Pa700. The Pa700 Oriental is a special version of the Pa700 that features oriental sounds and styles.
