Pioneer Introduces the DJS-1000 Performance Sampler
In the wake of last week's tantalizing rumours, Pioneer have finally revealed their mysterious new device, the DJS-1000 standalone DJ Performance sampler! It's basically a comprehensive version of the Toraiz SP-16 in a housing that's reminiscent of the CDJ-2000 Nexus.

With the new Pioneer DJS-1000, you can lift your live sets to another dimension. Create unique samples and effects beforehand or on the fly. The DJS-1000 synchronises automatically with your Pioneer DJ gear (as long as it's equipped with Beat Sync), such as the CDJ-2000 Nexus. Compared to the Toraiz SP-16, the new DJS-1000 has a number of new features, including a pitch control, pitch range selector and pitch bend (nudge) controls. A Play/Cue Gate Playback like the one on the CDJ has been added as well. You've got sixteen coloured performance pads at your fingertips and an innovative 7-inch touchscreen, all wrapped up in an intuitive device that matches the rest of your Pioneer equipment to a T!
