Pioneer DJ unveil their latest REV controller for Serato DJ and rekordbox: the DDJ-REV5. This tight DJ controller boasts the same battle lay-out as the REV7 and comes loaded with various fresh features, including Stems, Auto BMP Transition and Piano Play.

The DDJ-REV5 mimics the popular set-up of two PLX turntables and a DJM-S mixer for a smooth, intuitive scratch-feel and optimised battle lay-out. As well as extra-large platters that can be adjusted in terms of resistance, this two-channel DJ controller features pads, buttons and faders that are not only easy to use while you're scratching, but include dedicated Serato Stems controls. Other novel features include Auto BPM Transition for creating dynamic transitions between tracks that differ in BPM, and the Piano Play function which allows the performance pads to double as piano keys. In other words, the Pioneer DJ DDJ-REV5 grants scratch artists maximum creative freedom.
