The MOTU 828es Audio Interface Does it All
How much technology can you fit into one rack unit? That's what MOTU wanted to find out with their new audio interface, the 828es. It's a device that can do anything, making it a versatile, worthy expansion for your studio.
The right connections for your studio
Although the front panel of this device looks relatively tame with its two colour displays, a few connection options and some controls, the rear is nothing short of a jungle of possibilities. There, you'll find two ADATs, Wordclock, S/PDIF, MIDI, Thunderbolt, USB 2.0, eight analogue inputs and outputs, and XLR outputs for your studio monitors. There's even a network connection for creating a network of five interfaces, for those projects where one just won't suffice. In terms of really extreme projects, this interface will get any job done, as a single device is equipped with up to 60 inputs and outputs!
Experienced producers and engineers will know their way around the 828es in no time, that's a fact. This device is much, much more than a simple interface for home studios and beginners. The 828es is designed for professionals.
