General

The SKB iSeries 3i case is a compact, extremely sturdy hard case designed for the safe storage and transport of small (but fragile) items. The case is made from ultra-high-strength polypropylene copolymer resin and features a gasket-sealed closure. This makes it water- and dust-tight and even submersible in accordance with MIL-STD 810H. Handy if you’re often on the move, work outdoors or simply want to protect your equipment better against moisture, dirt and knocks than a standard pouch can offer.

Mil-Standard protection

This iSeries case is designed to withstand harsh conditions. This includes resistance to corrosion and impact damage, as well as to UV rays, solvents and even mould growth (MIL-STD 810H). In addition, the automatic ambient pressure equalisation valve ensures that pressure differences (caused, for example, by altitude or temperature) can be equalised, so that opening and closing remains smooth. Combined with the hard exterior, this is a case you can take with confidence to on-site jobs, storage areas or during transport.

Practical and robustly built

It’s also very user-friendly: the case features a moulded-in hinge and a Trigger Latch® System, giving you quick access to the contents whilst ensuring the case remains securely closed during transport. The snap-down rubber over-moulded cushion grip handle feels comfortable in your hand when carrying it. Whilst it doesn’t have built-in wheels, its compact size and light weight make it an ideal ‘grab-and-go’ protective case for smaller items.
