SKB Kit (D1822, D1012, D1214) drum kit case

General

The SKB-DRP1 Kit is a complete set of hard cases for drummers who want to transport and store their kit safely. This kit contains three cases: one for a 09 x 12 tom, one for a 12 x 14 tom and one for an 18 x 22 bass drum. The cases feature a traditional D-shape, ensuring your drums fit snugly and remain securely in place. This makes them a practical choice for rehearsals, gigs and storage, without the hassle of loose, ill-fitting bags.

Smart design for safe stacking

SKB builds these cases with a deep Roto-X rib pattern, ensuring extra durability and reliable stacking during transport. They also feature moulded-in feet: these protect the case and ensure it stands upright neatly. This keeps your kit organised backstage and prevents unnecessary damage when you need to set the cases down temporarily. Thanks to the sturdy, hard outer shell, your drums are better protected against knocks and pressure from other flight or transport cases.

Internal protection and comfortable carrying

Inside, you’ll find fabric-covered foam inserts. These are designed to help prevent damage from drum hardware and to securely ‘cradle’ your drums for maximum protection. For carrying, the cases are fitted with Sure Grip handles with a 90-degree stop, ensuring you maintain good control even when wearing gloves or during a quick load-in. There are no wheels, so you’ll need to carry this set manually using the handles.
