The SKB Removable Shock Rack 11U is a complete 19-inch rack transport case for those who want to transport large rack systems safely. The shock-absorbing construction with elastomer dampers helps to minimise shocks and vibrations during transport, ensuring that sensitive electronics remain better protected. In addition, the case is water- and dust-tight and resistant to heat and chemicals: exactly what you need for touring, hire or mobile installations. With 11U, you have plenty of space for processing, wireless, networking, power and more, all neatly contained in a single robust case.

Extendable and fully removable rack

A key feature of the SKB 3RR series is the removable internal rack with its patent-pending ‘positive lock’ latching system. You slide the rack open like a drawer, giving you full access to your mounted equipment for connection, patching and servicing. Need to take the rack to the workbench or integrate the frame into a bench? Simply remove the entire internal rack in one go. The case is designed as a standard 19-inch rack in accordance with EIA/ECA-310-E and uses square-hole rack rails for mounting.

Road-proof features and stackable design

The case is rotomoulded from LMDP (Linear Medium Density Polyethylene) and meets or exceeds MIL-STD 810H, with high impact resistance. There are 2-inch-deep covers at the front and rear, which are useful if your equipment is slightly longer than the 20-inch rail depth. You also get recessed, black powder-coated stainless steel hardware, four spring-loaded comfort-grip handles, an automatic pressure relief valve and gasket-sealed lids with lid hangers. Stacking is possible with SKB 3RR and 3RS cases (and similar cases). Wheels are not included as standard.
