SKB Removable Shock Rack 4U case for electronic equipment

General

The SKB Removable Shock Rack 4U is a complete 19-inch rack transport case designed specifically for sensitive electronic equipment. Thanks to the integrated shock-absorbing suspension with elastomer dampers, your equipment is much better protected against shocks and vibrations during transport. Furthermore, the case is water- and dust-tight, and resistant to heat and chemicals. This makes it ideal for touring, hire and installation work where your rack gear is frequently on the move and you do not want to compromise on reliability.

Extendable and removable rack frame

A unique feature of the 3RR series is the removable rack with a ‘positive lock’ locking system. The rack slides open like a chest of drawers, giving you full access to your installed equipment without having to remove everything from the case. Need to tinker on the workbench or integrate your set into a bench? Then the entire internal frame is also fully removable. The case is built to 19-inch EIA/ECA-310-E standards and features square-hole rack rails for both #10-32 (US) and 6 mm (international) cage nuts.

Tour-ready construction and stackable design

The rotomoulded LMDP outer shell meets or exceeds MIL-STD 810H and is renowned for its high impact resistance. Both the front and rear feature 2-inch-deep lids, which are useful if your equipment is longer than the 20-inch rail depth. The recessed stainless steel hardware (black powder-coated), four spring-loaded comfort-grip handles, automatic pressure relief valve and gasket-sealed lids with lid hangers make the case completely road-proof. It can be stacked with SKB 3RR and 3RS cases (and similar cases). Wheels are not included as standard; the SKB 3RR-RCB caster platform is available as an option.
