The SKB Removable Shock Rack 9U is a complete 19-inch rack transport case designed for the safe transport of sensitive electronic equipment. Thanks to the shock-absorbing suspension, your rack gear is better protected against shocks and vibrations whilst on the move. Even in challenging conditions, everything stays in good order: the case is water- and dust-tight and is also resistant to heat and chemicals. With 9U of rack space, this is a robust solution for larger live and installation set-ups, such as wireless systems, processing, recording and (network) interfaces, all in a single sturdy case.

Extendable rack with positive locking mechanism

The 3RR series features a removable internal rack with a patent-pending ‘positive lock’ latching system. You slide the rack open like a drawer, giving you quick, full access to your mounted equipment for connecting, re-patching and servicing. The entire rack frame is also fully removable, so you can easily integrate it into your workbench. The rack width is 19 inches as standard, in accordance with EIA/ECA-310-E, and the square-hole rack rails are compatible with both #10-32 (US) and 6 mm (international) cage nuts.

Road-proof enclosure, stackable and tour-ready

The rotomoulded LMDP enclosure meets or exceeds MIL-STD 810H and offers high impact resistance. Two 2-inch-deep covers are fitted at the front and rear, which is useful if your equipment is slightly longer than the 20-inch rail depth. It is also fitted with recessed black powder-coated stainless steel hardware, four spring-loaded comfort-grip handles, an automatic pressure relief valve and gasket-sealed lids with lid hangers. It can be stacked with SKB 3RR and 3RS cases (and similar models). Wheels are not fitted as standard.
