The Cameleon Flood 6 is a compact wash with 6 white LEDs, each with an output of 8 watts. Thanks to its robust cast aluminium housing, toughened glass lens plate and IP-65 rating, this lamp can also be used outdoors. After all, it is resistant to spray water and dust. There are no fans, cooling is by convection. Showtec has also thought of a practical mounting bracket. Just add a clamp and a safety cable and you can easily hang this wash from a truss. This bracket can also serve as a base if you prefer to place the lamp on the ground or on a stage.
Operation
Using the touchscreen on the back, you can easily operate the Showtec Flood 6. You can also determine the precise settings via the menu in the display, for example you can select the dimming curve and choose the desired dimmer speed and DMX outage settings. There are various possibilities to control this wash such as via an automatic programme, you can also choose to control the lamp manually, create a master/slave set-up with other lamps or control the wash via DMX, with 1 or 2 channels. For this, you will need a 3-pin DMX cable. Another option is to order a remote control so you can control everything even from a few metres away.
