General
The Devine Onyx 12 delivers 300 Watts of RMS power through its 12-inch woofer and 1.35-inch horn-loaded, compression driver. While capable of holding its own, this passive speaker can be hooked up to an external amplifier for some extra sonic thrust, or paired with a second speaker to complete a solid speaker system. The Onyx 12 has a frequency range of 53 Hz to 19 kHz and a maximum SPL of 119 dB, and can even be used as a floor monitor or put on a stand thanks to the 35mm stand flange on the bottom of the housing.

Gezien de prijs een geweldig product, samen met de Devine versterker en Devine mengpaneel een PA set waar je aardig mee voor de dag kan komen. Goede klank en aardige low.

Mooie en stevig afgewerkte speakers!
Geven een mooie en heldere klank, eerst had ik de 10 devine Onyx pasieve inch gekocht, maar deze geven een mooier geluid.
Het omruilen binnen de 30 dagen heeft me gered voor het samenstellen van een goede combinatie versterker en speakers!
Spijtig genoeg is er bijna geen voorraad en is de keuze aan goede versterkers die tussen de 350 en 800 wat RMS vermogen produceren heel klein!
Hopelijk verbeterd dit in de toekomst!
Uiteindelijk kan ik iedereen Bax Music aanbevelen!

Om te beginnen wauw, wat een verschil vergeleken mijn devine trono 15s. Zat eerst nog te twijfelen omdat deze wel even een maatje kleiner waren maar achteraf alleen maar in vooruitgegaan. Gaan veel harder en betere klank!
Pluspunten:
- prima gewicht
- stevige handvaten
- mooi uiterlijk en stevige grill
- super zuiver geluid
Minpunten:
- harde ruis bij geen geluid (met een gate zo opgelost)
- kast krast snel
Ten slotte geen verder nadelen gevonden voor mij. Tevens geef ik deze speakers 4 sterren omdat ik ze net heb en op de lange termijn nog niks kan zeggen...

2 aangeschaft als topjes op de onyx 15 active sub het zijn echte topkasten (dus niet full range) voor dit geld echt verassend goed! scherp hoog en een sterk midden! wij gebruiken deze set in ons clubhuis van 9x16x4 meter en is echt overkill aan geluid ,de topjes worden aangestuurd door de dap palladium 1600 en staan via de onyx sub op 120hz low cut ,ik adviseer wel een veel lichtere versterker (deze is 2x 625watt) bij 8 ohm,met 2x 300 zit je goed .kortom wij zijn verbaasd tevreden
