General
Any pub, club or other venue relies greatly on the power of their sound system, in addition to its quality. Ideally, you'd like it to be as loud as possible without any audible distortion. Another important factor is the setup's durability, as you wouldn't want it to break after a night of proper pounding performance. In short, if you want to be sure of volume, quality and durability, you'll be best-served with an HK audio speaker - such as this excellent PRO 8. With a maximum SPL of no less than 122 dB, you can be sure it is powerful enough. Naturally, an 8-inch speaker isn't a subwoofer, but at 63 Hz, the PRO 8 still produces a fair amount of bass. You can easily hide an HK series subwoofer somewhere in the room to create an overall setup that'll very nearly shake out your fillings. The rugged exterior and properly protected front are ready for nearly anything, making this a speaker that is also great for mobile setups. Top-shelf equipment for both fixed and mobile setups.

Goede speaker de Pro 8
Ik gebruik hem in combinatie met de Pro 8A en een Pro 210A subwoofer.
Je hebt zo een mooie compacte actieve set met behoorlijk wat power.
In de band gebruiken we deze set als monitor, erg prettig, een mooi vol geluid voor jezelf in plaats van het schriele geluid welke over het algemeen uit een floormonitor komt.
De Pro 8 is niet echt een fullrange speaker, dus wel gebruiken in combinatie met een sub.
