KEF Ventura 4 Outdoor Speaker (Set of 2, White)

General

The KEF Ventura 4 speaker provides KEF-grade audio reproduction for outdoor locations. This set of two passive speakers can be wall-mounted horizontally as well as vertically, and a nice little detail is that the KEF logo badge can also be rotated independently of the speaker for a neat finish. Each speaker has a power capacity of 10 to 80 Watts (at 6 Ohms), and the pair can run comfortably when connected to pretty much any standard amplifier.

Components

The slim housing weighs a mere 2.4kg so that little strain is placed on the wall these speakers are mounted to. Inside, a 4.5-inch 'long-throw' woofer ensures a surprisingly rich low-end, while a 0.75-inch, liquid-cooled tweeter produces a fresh and defined high-range and the 3.5kHz crossover has been optimally tuned according the speaker characteristics. The sleek design of the housing is also hard-wearing and durable, sealing up the perfect balance between audio quality and functionality.

Protected from the Elements

KEF have carefully developed the Ventura Series so that every model can be used safely outdoors. As such, the Ventura 4 comes with an IP65 classification, confirming that it's both dust and spray-proof. After extensive testing, the Ventura Series speakers are also proven to withstand salt water for up to 50 days straight, and every sensitive internal component is protected from the effects of UV light by the robust housing and powder-coated grille.
