KEF Ventura 5 speaker black (set of 2)

General

The black KEF Ventura 5 is a powerful speaker for outdoor use. The Ventura 5 comes in a set of two passive speaker, each with a 5.25-inch woofer and 1-inch tweeter. You can mount it both horizontally and vertically with the included bracket. It also has two holes on the back to mount it to an optional universal wall bracket, allowing you to mount these speakers any way you want to. Thanks to their weather-proof housing, you can also mount them wherever you want to.

KEF Ventura 5: technology

The components in the Ventura 5 are mounted from the inside, so that the ABS housing is fully weather resistant. Additionally, the long-throw woofer produces a surprisingly dense bass without sounding puffy or distorted. The liquid-cooled tweeter takes responsibility for the fresh-sounding trebles. The crossover, set at 3.8 kHz, has been optimised for the Ventura 5. A separate amplifier allows you to unleash up to 100 watts to the speakers via a speaker cable that can be connected via the familiar wire clamps.

Protected from the elements

It takes more than a plastic bag to create a proper outdoor speaker. The KEF Ventura line was carefully designed so that it can be used virtually anywhere. The Ventura 5 has an IP65 rating, which means that it is dust free and splash prof. In its testing phase, the Venture series' speakers endured a salt-water splashing for over 50 days! Its components have been mounted from the inside and the rugged, composite housing is UV-proof and fitted with a powder coated grille.
