General
This SAT 242 G2 passive installation monitor from JD Systems features two 4-inch custom woofers and a 1-inch custom tweeter. It can be used as a full-range speaker or in combination with a subwoofer. Despite its 'only' 4-inch woofers, the SAT 242 G2 puts down a hell of a sound. The maximum sound pressure level is also impressive at 108 dB. The speaker enclosure is solidly made of 12 mm thick MDF. In terms of mounting, you can choose to mount the speaker horizontally or vertically with the separately available SUWMB10B joint mount. By the way, a mounting bracket and 6M bolts are included.
