General

The RME HDSPeAES-32 is a PCI express version of the HDSPAES-32 AES/EBU audio interface offering sixteen AES inputs and sixteen outputs with a 192kHz sample rate. On top of that, this interface provides two MIDI in and out ports and can, together with the TCO module (sold separately), sync up with LTC and Video.

Besides a Wordclock in and out, the 25-pin D-Sub port sets up your system with four AES inputs and four AES outputs via a standard breakout cable (Tascam pinout), and the galvanised Wordclock input has been isolated and operates at single, double, and quad speeds.
