With Meinl's TMCP cajón pedal , however, you can play bass tones with your foot as if it were a regular bass drum pedal. The beater is made of a soft foam material to prevent the surface plate from getting damaged and is connected to the pedal by means of a durable cable. Both the pedal and the cajón mount are equipped with an adjustable spring-loaded clamp.
