General
The Neumann N 149 A is a power supply for the microphones M 147 Tube, M 149 Tube or M 150 Tube. This is the EU version that operates on 230 V with plug suitable for use in Europe. The power supply is connected via a standard IEC 320 socket. The microphone connects with a DIN 8 connector. The KT 8 DIN microphone cable may be up to 100 metres long so that offers many possibilities. The microphone signal goes to a male 3-pin XLR connector and the modulation output is balanced. The constant current of this power supply starts up your microphone in a gentle manner.
