General

Konig & Meyer's 13981 is an extremely comfortable piano bench made of solid beech wood that's been varnished with four coats of polyester and has a high-gloss black finish. The Chesterfield-style seat has deep-buttoned black quilted leather and the base of the feet have been finished with protective felt. There's a dual crossbar that allows you to easily adjust the height between 48 and 55 cm.

Wrote the following about Konig & Meyer 13981 piano bench, black (Chesterfield leather)

This is a lovely looking piano stool in gloss black. The stool is very easy to assemble and is solid and stable. The Chesterfield top is very comfortable and supportive and much better than foam or faux leather based seats. The legs are long so not much adjustment is needed even for tall players. It’s more expensive than the average stool but it’s worth paying the extra cost.
