General

The pickguard of the Fender Stratocaster takes up a lot of room on the front of the body. By replacing it with one of a different colour you'll completely alter the look of your guitar. It’s easy to do and a lot less expensive than a new paint job. This part is an original 3-layer black Fender pickguard for modern Stratocaster guitars with three single-coil pickups. The 11-hole pickguard has the second hole positioned close to the middle pickup, contrary to the vintage type 11-hole guard that has the second hole centered between the middle and neck pickup.

It will not fit American Pro strat. Fair enough as Bax product description never said it will. Still love you Bax!

I wanted to change the pick-ups and electronics on my Fender MIM 70s Stratocaster.
For this reason I opted to keep the original PUs as is on the original pickguard and use this new one for all the upgrades.
The new pickguard was a perfect fit and pickups and electronics were installed without any issues.
I also changes the screws to black Boston TS-01-B, which I think looks much better.
No regrets and happy with my decision to keep all originals together.
