While the octave higher/lower function of an octaver is the ideal way to fatten up your sound, this type of effect pedal can be pretty dominant when it comes to pedalboard lay-outs. The ENO OCT-1, however, is so small that you probably won't have any trouble finding a little space for it on your pedalboard and, next to octaver sounds, adds a dirty edge of fuzz to your tone. in principe misschien nuttig, maar octaaf zet al te merkbaar traag in, en het geluid klinkt als een ouderwetse synthesizer. Zal wel nuttig zijn als je zo'n effecten zoekt, maar anders kan je beter rondkijken voor een echte octaver

Je l'utilise sur contrebasse. Pas mal avec une octave plus bas en plus du son d'origine.. Cela donne un son intéressant, pour des solos un peu planants. Deux octaves plus bas c'est trop, inaudible. Petite déception pour ajouter l'octave supérieure.Je me rejouissais, mais son archi distordu. Contrebasse et disto, bof....

Al met al zou ik dit pedaal aanraden als je een zieke octaver zoekt om bijvoorbeeld van je fuzz een octave fuzz te maken, maar dit pedaal zal nooit in de buurt komen van bijvoorbeeld een POG.

Leuk pedaal voor singel notes, met akkoorden heeft het pedaal af en toe wat moeite. De reactie van het pedaal is heel erg afhankelijk van het input signaal. De knoppen zijn duidelijk, al kost het wel even tijd om een leuk geluid samen te stellen. Wanneer je een goedwerkende output signaal hebt gevonden heb je een pedaal wat een mooie extra dimensie aan je gitaarspel geeft. Alle plussen en minnen bij elkaar is het dus een leuk pedaal met een leuk geluid voor weinig geld, alleen kost het een beetje tijd om hem onder de knie te krijgen
