The Tortex Standard series consists of various coloured guitar picks with different gauges. The red edition is the thinnest by far. Its 0.50mm gauge puts it just beyond the orange pick. The thinner the pick, the sharper the sound.
The Tortex Standard picks have a durable character and an inbuilt memory. This means that the plectrum shapes itself to your strumming-style and grip. They are also equipped with a rugged layer that provides you with extra grip while you are playing.

Al 38 jaar een zeer betrouwbare vriend voor strumpartijen. Natuurlijk wel vergelijkbare plectrums uitgeprobeerd maar die ramde ik na een paar nummers al kapot. Een Dunlop Tortex 0.50 mm is bij nog nooit gebroken!

Prima plectrums. Is natuurlijk wel een heel pesoonlijk oordeel. Maar ik vind ze lekker spelen en mijn gitaarvrienden zijn er ook blij mee! ik gebruik ze vooral voor snelle strum ritmes, maar door de dikte ('dunte') geven ze ook een beetje een rasp-geluid. Wel weer handig als je een wat percussief effect wilt bereiken i.c.m. palm muting.
Voordeel van Bax is natuurlijk de snelle levering, en per 12 stuks zijn ze een stuk goedkoper!

Al 20 jaar gebruik ik deze plakkies. Ligt goed in de hand. Vooral omdat deze niet glad zijn maar beetje grof glijd het niet zomaar weg!
