Deze plectrums staan onder categorie vilt. Ze zijn absoluut niet wat ik verwacht van vilt, voelen ook zo niet aan en geven niet de warme klank die je met een vilt plectrum beoogt op ukelele. Het binnenste is misschien vilt, de coating lijkt er niet op. Het geluid is helder tot hard zelfs. De hardheid zal ook wel invloed hebben op de snaren van de ukelele, maar zover komt het bij mij niet. Het was niet de moeite om terug te sturen, maar gebruiken doe ik ze niet meer. Dunlop heeft vllten plectrum en addario ook. Die zijn vilt. Jammer van Fender dat hiermee toch teleursteld.
