The Code Drum Heads PRTHLBL51 Port Hole protects the 5-inch hole in the resonance skin of your bass drum. Such a hole improves the attack of your kick and allows you to insert a microphone. The only downside: cables, microphones and vibrations from playing can tear out such a hole, forcing you to replace your skin. The PRTHLBL51 Port Hole prevents this tearing out, and gives a nice visual accent to your resonance skin.
