Most houses, venues or commercial properties don't have an overabundance of power sockets. If you want to be able to connect your gear on location and divide the power, you often need an adapter cable. Just like XLR cables, power cables always come in handy. A note for Belgian customers or for those who want to plug in their equipment in Belgium: most Belgian power sockets are equipped with an earth pin instead of conductors at the side. Most cable plugs have such a slot for a pin (creating a triangle with the pins of your plug).
