The Power Dynamics PDM-C405A is a seriously flexible powered mixer that can be set up in combination with PA gear or DJ gear. Each channel has been outfitted with a bass, treble and level control, but you'll also find a built-in echo effect with tweakable intensity. Equipped with four balanced microphone inputs, three unbalanced line jack inputs, one stereo RCA line input and an AUX input, the PDM-C405A can playback MP3s or stream audio over Bluetooth and has been planted in a robust case-style housing complete with a handle.

Een mixer-versterker voor eenvoudig gebruik thuis, in de oefenruimte of in een kleine kroeg. De 'rec in - out' is handig voor opnames. Maar let er wel op dat ondanks de 'stereo' RCA-input, de output naar de speakers mono is. En volgens de doos is de output bij 8 ohm niet 2 x 150 maar 2 x 70 watt. Bij 4 ohm staat 2 x 100 watt vermeld.

Voor thuisgebruik een aanrader! Eenmaal ingesteld is het een mooi apparaat. Ik heb aangesloten een BOSS ME70, een TRIO Band creator en een microfoon. Als speaker gebruik ik een VOX cabinet. Het volume is goed af te stemmen op elkaar en het oefenen en opnemen is een stuk eenvoudiger geworden.
