Usually, all Teles are bestowed equally with a neat, clear and twangy sound. However, this silver-coloured Fender Blacktop Telecaster HH is a bit more equal than the others. It shares most of the iconic classic's looks but has been completely refurbished to deal with some proper modern guitar playing. For starters, this guitar is equipped with two humbucker pickups that are so versatile you'll go from warm, jazzy cleans to a high-gain metal distortion with just a turn of the volume knob. The Fender Blacktop Tele HH is a true wolf in sheep's clothing.

Modern features of the Blacktop Telecaster HH

Its two humbuckers and modern hardtail bridge with six adjustable saddles make that the Blacktop Telecaster HH is completely up to date. Just like a Strat, this Tele has an alder body with a deep body contour on the back for extra comfortable playing. The bolt-on maple neck is also packed with modern features such as a rosewood fretboard with 22 medium jumbo frets and a flatter 9.5-inch radius for effortless bends. Additionally, the potentiometers and three-position pickup switch have swapped places and are fitted with Fender guitar amplifier knobs for a rugged hot rod look.

Dual humbuckers for a wide sonic range

The Fender Blacktop Telecaster HH is equipped with Hot Vintage AlNiCo humbucker pickups that produce the same full, warm sound of a classic humbucker but with extra gain. The guitar's three-position pickup switch allows you to alternate between the two pickups or a combination of both. Its bridge pickup produces a fierce, aggressive sound while the one in the neck position has a deeper, creamier tone. By simply turning down the volume, you can even clean up the sound of the pickups at high distortion. Use the master tone knob to freely filter out high frequencies.
