General
The Sub8 by Adam is a compact, yet deceivingly powerful subwoofer that's engineered to expand on the low-frequency possibilities of any near-field monitoring system. The Sub8 boasts a robust 8.5-inch woofer with a 1.5-inch voice coil, which is driven by a 160-watt ICE Power amp. This amp is incidentally protected from overheating, even during high-output use and sustain.
Maximum control over the Sub8
The front panel of this sub features two motorised rotary knobs for adjusting the input level and crossover frequency settings. These settings can also be adjusted at a distance by means of the wireless remote control, which means you can fine-tune your sound while playing from an ideal listening position.
The Sub8 is a perfect match to the Adam AX series monitors, the S1X and S2X.
