The notorious Squier Vista Super Sonic, a guitar from the late 1990s, was revived by Fender in the form of this Pawn Shop Super Sonic. This solid-body guitar has a look all of its own thanks to a reversed headstock, exciting Dark Gunmetal Flake finish, Jazz Bass knobs and a divergent scale length of just 61 centimetres. Its details make this guitar a visual and technical marvel.

Fender Pawn Shop Super Sonic: distinctive look and feel

The Super Sonic has a body that looks somewhat like that of the Fender Jaguar. Its shiny grey finish goes exceptionally well with the parchment pickguard. Two Atomic Humbucking pickups provide it with a proper output. Like the Squier Vista Super Sonic, this guitar features reverse-wired volume knobs, which means that the volume knob for the bridge pickup is closest to the bridge. The C-profile neck and rosewood fretboard allow for smooth playing, and the vintage-style machine heads and bridge assure overall stability and a rich tone.
